The Interfaith Mediation Centre (IMC) is a Nigerian organization working to promote trust and tolerance between Christian and Muslim and other Traditional communities. Its mission is to create a peaceful society in Nigeria and beyond through non-violence and strategic engagement. IMC has carried out over 2,852 program activities that includes interventions locally, nationally and internationally. 

IMC was established to address contemporary issues around religious and ethnic motivated conflicts that negatively affect co-existence, development and good governance. The Centre uses faith-based approach for her interventions and its activities have become an integral component of civil society and are now a significant player in the field of human rights and conflict resolution; in the area of religion; social development and good governance at the community, state, national and international levels.

Our work at IMC addresses the challenge of building peace. We do so by using faith-based approach to promote acceptance of differences (religious, cultural, gender and other social differences) that exist in society and the use of non-violent methods in resolving problems.
